DeAnna Woods earned her Master’s degree in School Counseling from Southwestern Assemblies of God University and completed the Certificate Program for Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lamar University. She is recognized as a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate in the State of Texas, which allows her to provide therapeutic services to individuals dealing with various issues, including anxiety, stress, grief, loss, depression, self-esteem, and identity. DeAnna enjoys working with different age groups, including tweens, teens, and adults.
DeAnna establishes meaningful connections with her clients, fostering a positive environment for growth and healing. She primarily utilizes a cognitive behavioral approach with a person-centered attitude. It is her hope that clients feel heard and seen as they explore their thoughts and feelings, and receive the tools they need to overcome life’s obstacles.
