Erika earned a Master’s degree in Counseling and a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Dallas Baptist University. She also earned a Master’s degree in Missiology from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Erika earned her doctorate in Counseling/Psychology from B.H. Carroll Theological Seminary. She is recognized as a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas.

Erika’s professional passion is to come alongside families and individuals in their journeys of emotional, relational, mental, sexual, and spiritual restoration. Her counseling experience includes the areas of life transitions, depression, trauma, grief, anxiety, sexual assault and domestic violence.

She is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors, trained in Critical Incident Stress Management, Internal Family Systems therapy, and is a certified facilitator for Prepare and Enrich.  Erika works with children, teens, young adults, (pre)engaged, engaged, and married couples. Furthermore, her counseling experience includes cross-cultural work, and working as an adjunct professor at Dallas Baptist University.  Her depth of experience, compassion and supportive nature will help new clients feel at ease and encourage all clients in their growth and healing.
