Lisa earned a Master of Science degree in Counseling Psychology from Southwestern Assemblies of God University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from the University of Texas at Arlington. She is recognized as a Licensed Professional Counselor by the state of Texas.
Lisa works with teens, adults, couples, and families dealing with depression, anxiety, grief, adjustments, stress, codependency, women’s issues, marriage difficulties, personal growth issues, low self-esteem, and spiritual issues. Her relational approach includes walking alongside those who seek support and are open to growth. As a mother of young-adult children and a wife of more than 30 years, Lisa has a heart for women regarding their relationships and multiple roles. She recognizes that life is complex and that during times of distress a helping hand can make a difference. Lisa strives to provide a compassionate setting that encourages individuals to relax and be themselves so that healing and positive change can unfold.
Lisa is active in church ministry and is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors and the American Counseling Association.
