Mikayla Robeson earned her BS in Counseling Pre-Professional from Nelson University and her MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and School Counseling, with a specialization in Marriage and Family Counseling from Walden University. She is recognized as a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate in the State of Texas.

Mikayla works with children ages 6 and older, adolescents, college students, and adults who are navigating a variety of challenges, including anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, stress, self-worth, identity development, grief and loss, life transitions, relationship concerns, family changes, childhood trauma, spiritual growth, and fertility-related concerns. As a former school counselor, she is especially experienced in helping helping children and adolescents develop healthy coping skills, improve social relationships, and navigate school-related stress and academic pressure.

Mikayla’s counseling approach is warm, collaborative, and person-centered. She believes that every person has a unique story and strives to create a safe and supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to work toward meaningful change. She incorporates cognitive-behavioral techniques while tailoring counseling to each client’s individual needs, strengths, and goals. She considers it a privilege to walk alongside clients as they navigate difficult seasons, develop healthy coping skills, gain greater self-understanding, strengthen relationships, and move toward meaningful growth and healing.
