Leah earned her Bachelor of Arts in both Psychology and Art from Dallas Baptist University, and her Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Dallas Baptist University. She is recognized as a Licensed Professional Counselor Intern by the state of Texas.
Her education and experience equip her with the ability to partner with clients of all ages, including children, adolescents, and adults. She typically utilizes a child-centered, non-directive, play therapy approach when working with children and a supportive, insight focused, goal-directed mode with adolescents and adults wanting to address trauma, anxiety, depression, shame, challenging life transitions, and other presenting issues.
With all clients, Leah employs a holistic approach, addressing the individual’s life as a whole, as she partners with them in a collaborative experience. Her heart is to come alongside others in their hurt and challenges, working with them to find healing and growth.
